Traditionally yoga was shared between one teacher and one student.

The teacher could watch the student carefully and teach what was needed in the moment. The practice of yoga takes time to master but the deeper you go into the practice, you will see more of the beauty that surrounds you and find an internal strength to deal with life’s inevitable challenges.

Learning subtle alignment adjustments can help you create a strong foundation and understanding of yoga that will ultimately develop a deeper, safer yoga practice.

This will increase your confidence and help you to see the similarities between all yoga poses. Yoga is a journey that requires dedication, patience, awareness and discipline. The ultimate goal of yoga is universal for everyone: finding deeper connections with others and the Universal life force, feeling contentment and gratitude and expressing ourselves honestly and openly to the world.

Every person is unique and has a different level of body awareness. We work together towards your unique goals at a pace that suits you physically, mentally and emotionally. You will have time to ask as many questions as you like.

Busy schedule? Practice in the comfort of your home at your convenience.

Having a yoga session at home helps you create a space for a regular home practice.  It also saves you travel time so you have more time for yoga.

Great for athletes.

Most sports involve repetitive movements that create imbalance in the body. Typically flexibility of the major muscles results. Hamstrings, quads, hip flexors and shoulders become very tight. Athletes tend to have great body awareness so they have strength to support the poses. Gaining flexibility will often have a huge impact on balancing the physical and mental aspects of the body and mind.

Develop a home practice. Private yoga is invaluable for students of all levels and experience.

I can help with more physical and verbal adjustments, as well as assisted stretching, than would ever be possible in any class size.

I can help you learn sequencing to prepare for specific poses. I can help design a variety of practices for different goals targeting distinct areas of your body.

Group classes can be overwhelming with a pace that is too fast for a beginner. I can help you with adjustments and personal attention going at a pace that is best for your particular needs

*add $10 for each additional person up to 4 people when you come to my place.

Ten 90 minute Private Yoga Sessions* for $1,000 – $1,200

Location:

My house is in Chunns Cove about 5 minutes from downtown Asheville. I will send directions when you schedule a session.

Home visit:

There is also an option for me to come to your house for an additional fee of $10 – $30 depending on your location.

Appointments can be scheduled between 8:00am and ending at 8:30pm.

Cancellation Policy:

Less than 24 hour cancellation*:
You will be charged 50% of the cost of the missed appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

Less than 6 hour cancellation or not showing up for appointment *:
You will be charged 100% of the cost of the missed appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

*If you suddenly become ill or there is a family tragedy/emergency, the cancellation policy will be waived.
