Explore Your Inner Goddesses

 

The Goddesses represent qualities in our own psyche. They are our inner guides and protectors. Their stories are metaphors and inspirations for our lives.

Goddess energies are innately transformative. By getting in touch with our Goddesses and having a conversation, we can see our deepestdesires, our natural gifts and abilities.

Through yoga asanas, mantras, meditations, chanting, journaling and discussion we will explore our strengths, weaknesses, desires, special powers, goals and obstacles.

This is a full weekend workshop with a session on each goddess: Kali, the goddess of transformation, Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and good fortune, Saraswati, the goddess of language and the arts, and Durga, the fierce and kind mother goddess who can help us work with any challenge that comes into our lives. .

Detox Workshop

 

In this workshop we will detox the body through twists, gentle inversions, focused breathing and building internal heat by going deeply into the poses and through core work.

We will also focus on detoxing negative thoughts, emotions and stress. Life can be stressful on the body and mind so this is a great time to detox and rejuvenate your digestive, circulatory and lymphatic systems with yoga!

This is a transformative 3 hour workshop.

Additional Workshop topics:

  • Soar with Your Core – learn how to tap into your deep core muscles and activate them in every pose. This will make the basic asanas more fulfilling and make the advanced asanas more accessible.
  • Supple, Strong Shoulders and Healthy, Happy Hips – Learn how to open your shoulders safely and strength them. Hips tend to be tight. This workshop will explore various ways to open the hips releasing stored tension and creating relaxation throughout your body.
  • Inversion Investigation – Learn how to build the strength and body awareness necessary for handstands, and forearm stands. Practice these inversions at the wall and with partners to build confidence. Restorative poses feel great after an inversion practice.
